Virginia High School Basketball - Grayson County ripped by George Wythe
January 30, 2024: Independence, VA 24348 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting George Wythe Maroons basketball team scored a decisive 60-22 triumph over the Grayson County Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Maroons meet the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a Mountain Empire match, on Wednesday, January 31. George Wythe will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 4-11 record after their 65-37 league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA).
