Kansas High School Basketball - Wichita County overwhelms Greeley County
January 30, 2024: Leoti, KS 67861 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) and the visiting Greeley County Jackrabbits (Tribune, KS), saw Wichita County's basketball squad wallop Greeley County by a tally of 59-36.
With the victory, Wichita County improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Dighton (Dighton, KS) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Dighton won 52-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Ingalls (Ingalls, KS)
Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Greeley County will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 40-37 non-league win over Dighton (Dighton, KS).
