Maryland High School Basketball - Poly holds off Benjamin Franklin
January 30, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21225 The Poly Engineers basketball team scored 82 points and limited the host Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks to 80 in the Engineers league triumph on Thursday.
The Engineers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Marriotts Ridge for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Poly will confront a team coming off a 57-53 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Benjamin Franklin falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bayhawks travel to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Mustangs in a Baltimore City game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-5.
