January 30, 2025: Westbrook, ME 04092 Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME), 65-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westbrook upgrades its record to 3-14 on the year. The Blue Blazes travel to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to face the Tigers in a A South match on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-7. Biddeford lost 54-46 in their recent league match against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME)
The Rams now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanford for a AA South match on Tuesday, February 4. Gorham will face a Spartans squad coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Spartans record now stands at 5-11.
