Delaware High School Basketball - Salesianum overwhelms Appoquinimink
January 31, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19802 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), saw Salesianum's basketball squad wallop Appoquinimink by a count of 75-46.
With the victory, Salesianum upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Sallies host Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE) to play the Hillers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Hillers come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Tower Hill won 66-41 in their recent league challenge against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE)
Next up, the Jaguars play the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Appoquinimink will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD).
