January 21, 2023: New Castle, DE 19720 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) and the visiting Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE), saw William Penn's basketball squad overcome Salesianum by a tally of 75-63.
With the victory, William Penn improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Colonials host DuPont (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Sallies confront the Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Salesianum will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 57-37 non-league win over Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE).
