January 31, 2023: Dawson, MN 56232 The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team (Kerkhoven, MN), was overwhelmed 71-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN)
The Blackjacks now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Renville County West for a A Section 3 battle on Friday, February 3. Dawson-Boyd will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 92-72 league loss to Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-16.
The Fighting Saints (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against MACCRAY (Clara City, MN). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, MACCRAY was overwhelmed by Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 87-44, in a league battle.
