Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Strath Haven nips Penncrest
January 31, 2023: Wallingford, PA 19086 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA) and the visiting Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), saw Strath Haven's basketball squad hold off Penncrest by a count of 46-40.
With the victory, Strath Haven upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Springfield (Springfield, PA) to play the Cougars in a Central challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Lions play the Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Penncrest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 57-42 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA).
