South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion overwhelms Beresford
January 31, 2023: Beresford, SD 57004 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) and the host Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), saw Vermillion's basketball squad wallop Beresford by a tally of 50-26.
With the victory, Vermillion improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Tanagers host Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. Sioux Falls Christian won 65-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Canton (Canton, SD)
Next up, the Watchdogs play the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Beresford will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 53-28 league loss to Freeman (Freeman, SD).
