In Tuesday's league outing, the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), by a margin of 51-48.

The Comets (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Broncos go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 outing with a 21-1 record. In their last outing, Brookwood held off Newton (Covington, GA), 62-17, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Grayson for a AAAAAAA Region 4 outing on Friday, February 3. Parkview will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 57-54 league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Rams record now stands at 15-7.
