The Upper Moreland Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Springfield Township Spartans to 17 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hope-Solebury for a Suburban One - American contest on Tuesday, February 7. Upper Moreland will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-46 league win over William Tennent (Warminster, PA). The Lions record now stands at 14-7.
