Quakertown Panthers (Quakertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA), 57-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Quakertown upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Panthers host Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Pope John Paul II lost 61-42 in their recent league bout against Pottstown (Pottstown, PA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters (Horsham, PA) in a Suburban One - American bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Springfield Township will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
