Maryland High School Basketball - Chapelgate Christian Academy overwhelmed by Severn School
January 31, 2024: Marriottsville, MD 21104 The Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets basketball team (Marriottsville, MD), was overwhelmed 80-43 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD)
The Admirals now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Curley for a MIAA B - Black battle on Friday, February 2. Severn School will confront a Friars team coming off a 42-40 non-league loss to Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Friars record now stands at 3-7.
The Yellowjackets (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Crusaders come into the MIAA B - Red battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, St. Paul's trounced Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD), 61-36, in a non-league battle.
