Maryland High School Basketball - Westminster tipped by Winters Mill
January 31, 2024: Westminster, MD 21157 In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Winters Mill Falcons basketball team scored a tight 56-55 triumph over the Westminster Owls.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County match, on Friday, February 2. Winters Mill will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 73-60 league loss to Century (Sykesville, MD).
With the defeat, Westminster moves to 6-12 on the year. The Owls host Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD) to confront the Eagles in a Carroll County challenge on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-14.
