California High School Basketball - Monterey Trail fells Kennedy
January 31, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95831 Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), 41-23 in a league bout.
With the win, Monterey Trail upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Grant (Sacramento, CA) to play the Pacers in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Pacers go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Grant won 82-49 in their recent league bout against River City (West Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-15 record after their 55-49 league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).
