California High School Basketball - McClatchy topped by Monterey Trail
December 2, 2023: Sacramento, CA 95818 The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host McClatchy Lions to 39 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lodi for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Monterey Trail will battle a Flames team coming off a 39-29 non-league loss to Oakdale (Oakdale, CA). The Flames record now stands at 0-2.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin was defeated by Edison (Fresno, CA), 78-46, in a non-league contest.
