With the victory, St. Mary's Academy improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Newman (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Greenies in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Greenies come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Newman won 64-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA)
Next up, the Comets confront the St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-21 season record.
