The Chambers Cougars basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 76-75 in Friday's league battle with the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC)

With the victory, Harding University advances its record to 6-14 on the year. The Rams host Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Mavericks in a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Mavericks enter the battle with a record of 10-10. Mallard Creek lost 77-32 in their recent league battle against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC)

The Cougars now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell for a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Tuesday, February 4. Chambers will meet a Titans squad coming off a 64-54 league win over West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Titans record now stands at 15-4.
