The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) and the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), observed Chisholm Trail's basketball team overcome Saginaw by a margin of 71-51.

The Rangers (19-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region I District 5 challenge with a 13-19 record. In their last challenge, Granbury dropped by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 60-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rough Riders battle the Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Saginaw will attempt to better on its 11-20 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-17 record after their 54-28 league loss to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX).
