January 31, 2025: Humboldt, IA 50548 The Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) basketball crushed the host Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), 95-59 in Friday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 18-0 record. They play next when they host Webster City for a North Central bout on Tuesday, February 4. Clear Lake will play a Lynx team coming off a 56-54 league win over Algona (Algona, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Humboldt falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA) to play the Gaels in a North Central bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 17-2. St. Edmond won 72-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA)
