South Dakota High School Basketball - DeSmet nudges Colman-Egan
January 31, 2025: DeSmet, SD 57231 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) and the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), observed DeSmet's basketball team edge Colman-Egan by a score of 53-49.
The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Cossacks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Sioux Valley edged Beresford (Beresford, SD), 63-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the C-E Hawks encounter the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a B Region 3 challenge, on Monday, February 3. Colman-Egan will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 67-36 league loss to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD).
