January 31, 2025: Connellsville, PA 15425 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA), observed Mt. Lebanon's basketball team overwhelm Connellsville by a score of 74-27.
The Blue Devils (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Black Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Bethel Park was routed by Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 57-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Connellsville will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 65-50 league win over Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA).
