January 4, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15228 In Saturday's league test, the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad got by the visiting Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA), by a score of 55-49.
Next, the Blue Devils encounter the Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 2 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Lebanon will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 2-9 record after their 70-15 league loss to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA).
The Big Macs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans come into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Hempfield Area was nipped by Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 72-69, in a league test.
