In Friday's league contest, the visiting Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks basketball team scored a good 83-73 win over the Excel Christian Academy Blue Spartans.

The Hawks (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Champions Christian Academy (Davenport, FL). The Lions come into the Mid-Florida contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Champions Christian Academy was topped by Hifz Academy (Tampa, FL), 33-18, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Winter Haven Christian Warriors (Winter Haven, FL) in a Mid-Florida contest, on Monday, February 3.
