The Excel Christian Academy Blue Spartans (Lakeland, FL) basketball edged the host Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks (Brandon, FL), 71-70 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Florida College Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 22. Excel Christian Academy Blue will play a Falcons team coming off a 68-13 non-league win over Hifz Academy (Tampa, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Families Instructing Students HomeSchool falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 12-16. Forsyth Home Educators lost 67-58 in their recent non-league bout against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC)
