New York High School Basketball - Unatego knocked off by Oxford Academy
January 31, 2025: Oxford, NY 13830 In Friday's league test, the Oxford Academy Blackhawks (Oxford, NY) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY), by a score of 65-46.
Next, the Blackhawks clash with the Edmeston Central Panthers (Edmeston, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Oxford Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 77-42 league win over Schenevus Central (Schenevus, NY).
The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Deposit-Hancock (Deposit, NY). The come into the Section 4 Midstate test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Deposit-Hancock went down by Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY), 100-69, in a league test.
