South Dakota High School Basketball - Chamberlain trounced by Mobridge-Pollock
January 31, 2025: Mobridge, SD 57601 Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), 73-27 in a league match.
With the victory, Mobridge-Pollock advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Centerville (Centerville, SD) to meet the Tornadoes in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Tornadoes enter the match with a record of 15-0. Centerville won 65-35 in their recent league match against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD)
The Cubs now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Platte/Geddes for a A Region 6 match on Tuesday, February 4. Chamberlain will meet a Black Panthers squad coming off a 48-18 non-league win over Colome (Colome, SD). The Black Panthers record now stands at 4-9.
