South Dakota High School Basketball - Marty Indian trounced by Omaha Nation
January 31, 2025: Marty, SD 57361 Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD), 61-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Omaha Nation advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD) to meet the Thunderhawks in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Thunderhawks enter the match with a record of 11-2. Tiospaye Topa won 56-22 in their recent non-league match against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD)
The Braves now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiospa Zina for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. Marty Indian will meet a Wambdi squad coming off a 55-32 non-league win over Wakpala (Wakpala, SD). The Wambdi record now stands at 5-7.
