The Plainwell Trojans basketball squad (Plainwell, MI), was outscored 51-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI)

With the victory, Sturgis advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Trojans host Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI) to meet the Shamrocks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Shamrocks enter the battle with a record of 12-1. Berrien Springs won 69-47 in their recent non-league battle against Niles (Niles, MI)

The Trojans now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 4. Plainwell will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 50-14 non-league loss to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI). The Clippers record now stands at 4-8.
