The Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team (Falmouth, KY), was nudged 67-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Deming Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY)

The Black Devils now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Harrison County for a District 38 battle on Thursday, February 3. Deming will battle a Thorobreds team coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Thorobreds record now stands at 10-11.

The Wildcats (8-15) will now prepare for their battle against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Sayre edged Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY), 67-54, in a non-league battle.
