South Carolina High School Basketball - Emerald beaten by Daniel
In Friday's league match, the host Daniel Lions basketball team scored a good 68-55 triumph over the Emerald Vikings.
The Lions (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC). The Razorbacks go into the AAA Region I test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Walhalla went down by Wren (Piedmont, SC), 71-34, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Palmetto for a AAA Region I test on Tuesday, February 5. Emerald will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 79-69 league loss to West-Oak (Westminster, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-16.
