T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), 71-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, T.C. Roberson upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Erwin (Asheville, NC) to play the Warriors in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout on Friday, February 4. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-13. Erwin lost 70-18 in their recent league bout against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout, on Friday, February 4. Asheville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 86-60 league loss to Enka (Enka, NC).
