The Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX), 61-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Diamondbacks (16-12) will now prepare for their test against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 14-13 record. In their last test, Rowe notched a victory over Valley View (Pharr, TX), 69-49, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Friday, February 4.
