February 1, 2022: Springdale, MD 20774 Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD), 40-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Flowers upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Pumas in a Prince George's County 4A game on Thursday, February 3. The Pumas enter the game with a record of 2-2. Wise lost 55-30 in their recent league game against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD)
With the defeat, Eleanor Roosevelt moves to 1-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD) to face the Wildcats in a Prince George's County 4A game on Thursday, February 3.
