Maryland High School Basketball - Bowie loses to Flowers
February 8, 2022: Bowie, MD 20715 Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD), 49-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Flowers upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Suitland (Forestville, MD) to clash with the Rams in a Prince George's County 4A bout on Thursday, February 10. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Suitland won 54-43 in their recent league bout against DuVal (Lanham, MD)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Freelance bout, on Saturday, February 12. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 59-13 league loss to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD).
