Michigan High School Basketball - Oscoda overwhelms Heston Academy
February 1, 2023: Oscoda, MI 48750 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) and the visiting Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI), saw Oscoda's basketball squad wallop Heston Academy by a tally of 83-10.
With the victory, Oscoda improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Owls host Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a North Star challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-11.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Heston Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 70-32 league loss to Hillman (Hillman, MI).
