Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), 48-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Oscoda upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Owls host Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Alcona will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
