South Dakota High School Basketball - Tri-Valley can't hold off Dell Rapids
February 1, 2024: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The Dell Rapids Quarriers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs to 52 in the Quarriers league victory on Thursday.
The Quarriers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Dell Rapids will battle a Titans team coming off a 58-49 league loss to Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Titans record now stands at 5-9.
The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles go into the non-league bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Lennox held off Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 55-39, in a non-league bout.
