Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Halifax nips Line Mountain
February 1, 2024: Herndon, PA 17830 Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA), 53-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Halifax upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Antietam (Reading, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Antietam won 49-47 in their recent league bout against Oley Valley (Oley, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Line Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 61-38 league win over Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA).
