The Newport Buffaloes basketball team (Newport, PA), was overwhelmed 64-43 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA)

The Wildcats now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Susquenita for a Tri-Valley battle on Thursday, January 18. Halifax will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 52-44 league loss to East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 6-8.

The Buffaloes (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Juniata (Mifflintown, PA). The Indians come into the Tri-Valley battle with a 6-6 record.
