Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Newport knocked off by Upper Dauphin Area

January 12, 2024: Elizabethville, PA 17023

The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Newport Buffaloes to 46 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a Tri-Valley contest on Monday, January 15. Upper Dauphin Area will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-42 league loss to Susquenita (Duncannon, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.

The Buffaloes (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Halifax (Halifax, PA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Valley contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Halifax ran past Juniata (Mifflintown, PA), 69-31, in a league contest.
