Maine High School Basketball - Richmond crushes North Haven
February 1, 2024: Richmond, ME 04357 Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Haven Hawks (North Haven, ME), 86-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Waterville (Waterville, ME) to clash with the Panthers in a C South bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Waterville lost 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a D South bout, on Friday, February 2. North Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 69-53 league loss to Temple Academy (Waterville, ME).
