Maine High School Basketball - Richmond overwhelms Vinalhaven
December 16, 2023: Richmond, ME 04357 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) and the visiting Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME), saw Richmond's basketball squad wallop Vinalhaven by a tally of 79-7.
With the victory, Richmond improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Temple Academy (Waterville, ME) to play the Bereans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bereans come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Temple Academy won 57-29 in their recent league challenge against North Haven (North Haven, ME)
Next up, the Vikings play the Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME) in a D South challenge, on Monday, December 18. Vinalhaven will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 44-38 league win over Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME).
