Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME), 59-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Richmond upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Rangeley Lakes (Rangeley, ME) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Rangeley Lakes lost 76-33 in their recent league bout against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
