Missouri High School Basketball - Sweet Springs holds off Santa Fe
February 1, 2024: Alma, MO 64001 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sweet Springs Greyhounds (Sweet Springs, MO) and the host Santa Fe Chiefs (Alma, MO), saw Sweet Springs's basketball squad hold off Santa Fe by a tally of 62-55.
With the victory, Sweet Springs improves its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Concordia (Concordia, MO) to confront the Fighting Orioles in a I-70 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Fighting Orioles come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Concordia lost 65-60 in their recent league challenge against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Crest Ridge Cougars (Centerview, MO) in a I-70 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Santa Fe will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 64-42 league win over Orrick (Orrick, MO).
