Wisconsin High School Basketball - Xavier holds off West De Pere
February 1, 2024: Appleton, WI 54914 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Xavier Hawks (Appleton, WI) and the visiting West De Pere Phantoms (De Pere, WI), saw Xavier's basketball squad hold off West De Pere by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, Xavier improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI) to confront the Red Devils in a Bay challenge on Monday, February 5. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-18. Green Bay East lost 89-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Plymouth (Plymouth, WI)
Next up, the Phantoms confront the Menasha Bluejays (Menasha, WI) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. West De Pere will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 76-52 league loss to New London (New London, WI).
