Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha North can't hold off Benson

The Benson Bunnies basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Omaha North Vikings to 61 in the Bunnies league triumph on Thursday.

The Bunnies now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Benson will battle a Bears team coming off a 66-3 non-league loss to Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Bears record now stands at 0-15.

The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Discoverers enter the A District TBD contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Columbus nudged Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 54-39, in a league contest.
