Oklahoma High School Basketball - Coalgate holds off Savanna
February 1, 2024: Savanna, OK 74565 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Coalgate Wildcats (Coalgate, OK) and the host Savanna Bulldogs (Savanna, OK), saw Coalgate's basketball squad hold off Savanna by a tally of 47-41.
With the victory, Coalgate improves its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Davis (Davis, OK) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Davis won 35-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Lexington (Lexington, OK)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Savanna will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Diggers come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 45-36 league loss to Talihina (Talihina, OK).
