Vermont High School Basketball - North Country Union overwhelms Peoples Academy
February 1, 2024: Newport, VT 05855 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the visiting Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT), saw North Country Union's basketball squad wallop Peoples Academy by a count of 58-11.
With the victory, North Country Union upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Spaulding (Barre, VT) to play the Crimson Tide in a Metro challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Crimson Tide come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Spaulding won 39-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT)
Next up, the Wolves play the Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Peoples Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
