February 1, 2024: Valdosta, GA 31632 The Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) basketball felled the visiting Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA), 52-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Valiants (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA). The Eagles go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Terrell Academy thwarted Southland Academy (Americus, GA), 50-16, in a league test.
The now own a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Hope Christian Academy for a Southeastern Christian test on Friday, February 2. Open Bible Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 71-14 non-league loss to Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Lions record now stands at 1-8.
